Description
Following its Edinburgh Fringe season, Grit, Glitter & Gaslight - The Sarah McGuinness Story returns to London for 4 weeks only at Blacks, Soho, from 6 November to 6 December 2026. This critically acclaimed cabaret combines live music, storytelling and song in an extraordinary true story of identity, family and reinvention.
Grit, Glitter and Gaslight sees this feisty doyenne to the stars strip back the shrouds of celebrity mystery, taking audiences on a journey through her life from her childhood in Derry, through a complex relationship with her roots and family, to the heights of international success as her life becomes entwined with entertainment icons.
Blending live performance, storytelling and song, the renowned documentary maker and musician turns the lens on herself, delving into long-forgotten memories that are traumatic and hilarious in equal measure.

"Amusing, boundary bending...utterly surprising" - Broadway World
