Ryan Garner will bid to strike gold when he takes on Silver champion Michael Magnesi for the WBC Interim world super featherweight championship on the pitch at St Mary’s, home of Southampton FC, on Saturday June 20 live on DAZN.

The fight against the 31-year-old Italian will represent the fulfilment of a dream for Southampton local Garner, 28, who has stated from day one his ultimate ambition to fight at the stadium in his home city.

Another Southampton local fighting on the home stage is British light heavyweight champion Lewis Edmondson (11-1, 3 KOs), who will take on European champion Lyndon Arthur (25-3, 16 KOs). Manchester man Arthur collected his belt with
victory over Brad Rea in November. The bout will be for the European and Commonwealth titles.

Ryan Garner (19-0, 10 KOs) remains on the WBC course he set out on in 2023 when he won the International title at York Hall with a third round stoppage of Juan Jesus Antunez.
