Description

Magnetic Skies are a UK synth-pop and darkwave band whose cinematic electronic sound blends vintage analogue textures with soaring modern songwriting. Formed by vocalist/keyboardist Simon Kent and keyboardist Jo Womar, the project began as a studio collaboration inspired by a shared love of 80s synth-driven post-punk and electronic pop.

What started as an experimental recording partnership quickly evolved into a fully realised band, with drummer Lenin Alegria joining the line-up and helping translate the duo's atmospheric recordings into an immersive live experience.
