After another successful tour in Asia, Los Angeles-based blues and folk-country acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter Eric Allen comes to The Cluny stage in Newcastle to kick-off his Howlin’ Growlin’ Allen Tour of the UK and US.

Get ready for an evening of authentic, soulful, raspy, and badass blues and Americana roots songs – think Tom Waits and Neil Young mixed with Steve Earle and Ray Wylie Hubbard. If you like train songs, aligator songs, you’ll like these stories of hope and longing, prowlin’ wolves, and tomcats as sang by Eric with just his growlin’ voice and an acoustic guitar.
