Every year the Ig Nobel Prizes honor ten achievements that make people LAUGH, then THINK. Marc Abrahams, founder of the Ig Nobel Prize ceremony, will tell the story of the Igs.

Marc will also be joined by former winners to present their research:

Saul Justin Newman, 2024 Ig Nobel Prize winner - Many of the people famous for having the longest lives lived in places that had lousy birth-and-death record-keeping.

Minna Lyons, 2014 Ig Nobel Prize winner - Probing the relationship between psychopaths and night owls.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This is NOT a ticket.

2. Present your confirmation on arrival at the venue. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.

• You can choose a Free Ticket or a Free Ticket with £5 Donation - all £5 goes straight to the Royal Institution to continue their excellent scientific education work. Both tickets allow the same entry to the event.
