Spoken word meets the thrilling sound of an orchestra as an extraordinary line-up of poets join forces with the BBC Symphony Orchestra for an unmissable evening, in collaboration with the BBC’s Contains Strong Language poetry and performance festival.
From the bold and innovative Hannah Silva to the raw storytelling of Keith Jarrett, this night is all about voices who speak directly to the heart of East London. Hear stories of home, belonging and place interwoven with music, much of it specially created for the occasion. Experience Christian Foley’s quick lyricism, Kat François’s exciting energy, Yomi Ṣode’s moving reflections, Livia Kojo Alour's emotional depth and a solo performance from exciting new talent Rain.
How To Get Your Tickets
1. Book your desired number of tickets and await an email from us confirming your order. This email will contain a PDF with your TFG e-ticket(s).
2. Take your TFG e-ticket(s) and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.
